With the opening of the first Microstart branch in Saint Gilles, microcredit is now available in Brussels!

Microstart is a social cooperative created by the french non-profit ADIE and BNP Paribas Fortis with the support of the European Union. It now provides micro loans to entrepreneurs with no access to standard banking services. Loans range from 500€ to 10000€ and are generally used for buying small equipment or product stocks.

Financité reports that a second branch will open soon in Saint Josse.
